Shipping & Logistics Policy (USA & International)

At China Dental Labo, we understand that “Turnaround Time” is critical for your dental practice. A delayed crown means a rescheduled patient and lost chair time. That is why we have partnered with top-tier global logistics providers to ensure our shipping process is as reliable as a local lab next door.

1. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We strictly use Express Air Freight for all physical shipments to the United States. We do not use slow sea freight or standard post.

  • Primary Carriers: DHL Express, FedEx International Priority, UPS Worldwide Saver.
  • Service Type: Door-to-Door (The courier picks up from our lab and delivers directly to your clinic’s reception).
  • Tracking: Every shipment comes with a Tracking Number sent automatically to your email upon dispatch.

2. Turnaround Time (Production + Shipping)

For our clients in the USA, our standard turnaround time is calculated as follows:

Physical Restorations (Crowns, Bridges, Dentures)

  • In-Lab Production: 3-4 Business Days.
  • International Shipping: 2-3 Business Days.
  • Total Turnaround: ~6-8 Days from file submission to delivery.

Digital Design Services (CAD Files)

  • Design Time: 12-24 Hours.
  • Delivery: Instant Download via Email/Portal. (No shipping required).

3. Shipping Costs & Free Shipping Threshold

To keep your costs predictable, we offer simplified shipping rates:

  • Standard Flat Rate: A fixed fee applies to small packages (under 1kg). Please contact us for the current rate card.
  • Bulk Shipping Discount: We encourage consolidating cases. If you ship 10+ units per package or reach a certain monthly volume, we cover the shipping cost (Free Inbound & Outbound Shipping).

4. Customs & Duties (The “Worry-Free” Promise)

Many dentists worry about US Customs paperwork. We handle this for you.

  • FDA Compliance: All packages are labeled with proper FDA Product Codes and Manufacturer Registration Numbers to ensure smooth entry into the USA.
  • Paperwork: Our logistics team prepares the Commercial Invoice and Air Waybill. You generally do not need to do anything.

5. Receiving Inspection Policy

While we pack our ceramics in reinforced, shock-proof packaging, rough handling by couriers can happen.

  • Upon Delivery: Please inspect the external box. If it looks crushed or wet, take a photo BEFORE opening it.
  • Damaged Contents: If a model or crown is broken inside, take a clear photo and email it to chinadentaldesigns@gmail.com immediately. We will initiate a rush remake at no cost. (See Return Policy).

6. Sending Cases TO Us (Impressions/Models)

If you are sending physical PVS impressions or stone models from the US to our lab:

  1. Request a Label: Email us to request a pre-paid FedEx/DHL shipping label.
  2. Pack Securely: Wrap models in bubble wrap individually. Place them in a sturdy box.
  3. Schedule Pickup: Call the courier to pick up the package from your office.

*Pro Tip: Switch to Intraoral Scanning (Digital Impressions) to eliminate shipping costs and transit time entirely!
