Warranty & Remake Policy: Our Commitment to Quality

At China Dental Labo, we understand that reliability is the cornerstone of a successful dental practice. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. Our warranty policy is designed to provide peace of mind to our US partners, ensuring that your patients receive durable, FDA-compliant restorations.

Warranty Coverage Periods

We offer industry-leading warranty terms based on the material and type of restoration. The warranty period begins from the date of delivery to your clinic.

Fixed Restorations (Crown & Bridge)

  • Full Monolithic Zirconia: 5 Years (Against fracture).
  • PFM (Porcelain Fused to Metal): 3 Years.
  • IPS e.max® Press / CAD: 2 Years.
  • Veneers & Inlay/Onlay: 1 Year.

Removables & Implants

  • Cast Metal Frameworks (RPD): 3 Years.
  • Flexible Partials / Acrylic Dentures: 1 Year.
  • Custom Implant Abutments (Titanium/Zirconia): 5 Years.
  • Orthodontic Appliances / Nightguards: 3 Months.

Remake Policy (No-Fault Remakes)

We strive for perfection, but we know clinical variables exist. We will repair or remake any restoration free of charge under the following conditions:

  • Fit Issues: The restoration does not seat properly on the die or model provided.
  • Material Failure: Fracture or chipping of ceramic/zirconia during normal use within the warranty period.
  • Design Error: The finished product does not match the prescription instructions (e.g., wrong shade, wrong material).

*Note: For remake claims due to fit, we may request a new impression or scan to ensure the new unit fits perfectly.

Exclusions (What is NOT Covered)

The following scenarios are generally not covered by the standard warranty or may incur a charge:

  • Change of Prescriptions: If you request a remake with a different shade, material, or preparation design than the original order.
  • Prep Reduction Issues: If we notified you of “insufficient reduction” but were instructed to “proceed as is,” the resulting restoration is not warrantied against fracture.
  • Patient Loss/Accident: Lost appliances or damage caused by accidents (e.g., dropping the denture) are not manufacturing defects.
  • Refits/Relines: Immediate dentures requiring relines due to tissue healing are billable services.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To process a claim quickly for our US clients, we have simplified the process:

  1. Notify Us: Email chinadentaldesigns@gmail.com with the Patient Name, Case ID, and a description of the issue.
  2. Photo Evidence: Since shipping physical scraps back to the lab can be costly, we accept high-resolution photos of the fractured restoration or fit issue on the model.
  3. New Data: Send a new digital scan (STL) if the original impression was distorted.
  4. Resolution: We will expedite the remake case and ship it back to you as a priority order.

Refund Policy

As dental restorations are custom-made medical devices, we do not offer cash refunds. However, if a case cannot be resolved after a remake, we will issue a Store Credit to your account, which can be applied to future invoices.
