Warranty & Remake Policy – China Dental Labo
At China Dental Labo, we pride ourselves on the quality and precision of our craftsmanship. We understand that in restorative dentistry, fit and function are paramount. Our policy is designed to offer peace of mind to our partners, ensuring that we stand behind every restoration we manufacture.
1. Limited Warranty Coverage
We guarantee that our prosthetics are free from defects in materials and workmanship. If a failure occurs within the warranty period due to a material defect or lab error, we will repair or remake the restoration at no additional charge.
- Fixed Restorations (Zirconia, E.max, PFM): 5-Year Warranty against fracture.
- Implants (Abutments & Bars): 5-Year Warranty.
- Removables (Dentures & Partials): 1-Year Warranty against fracture (excluding teeth wear).
- Orthodontics (Aligners & Splints): 90-Day Warranty.
2. Remake Policy (Free of Charge)
Eligible cases will be remade at no cost to the laboratory/clinician under the following conditions:
- The restoration has an open margin, rocks, or does not seat on the master die provided.
- The shade is incorrect compared to the original prescription.
- The restoration fractures during normal insertion or function within the warranty period.
- We manufactured the case contrary to the written prescription/instructions.
3. Chargeable Remakes
Remakes will be charged at 50% to 100% of the original price in the following scenarios:
- Preparation Change: The doctor re-preps the tooth or takes a new impression after the initial case was delivered.
- Shade Change: The doctor or patient requests a different shade than originally prescribed.
- “Proceed” Cases: If we notified you of a questionable impression/margin, but were instructed to “proceed anyway,” the resulting remake is billable.
- Design Change: A change in the type of restoration (e.g., switching from PFM to Zirconia) after the case has been started.
4. How to Request a Remake/Credit
Since we operate as an offshore partner, we have streamlined the process to avoid unnecessary international shipping costs.
Step 1: Digital Assessment
Do not ship the physical product back immediately. Please send clear photos of the issue (e.g., photo of the crown on the die showing the open margin) to chinadentaldesigns@gmail.com along with the Case ID and reason for the remake.
Step 2: Confirmation
Our Quality Control team will review the images within 24 hours.
A) If it is a lab error, we will issue a “Free Remake” ticket immediately.
B) If the cause is unclear, we may ask you to return the physical models/restoration for analysis.
Step 3: New File Submission
For remakes requiring new data (new impression/scan), please upload the new STL files to our portal or email them referencing the original Case ID.
5. Refund Policy
As our products are custom-made medical devices, we generally do not offer cash refunds. Instead, approved claims will be credited to your account balance (Store Credit), which can be used for future invoices or monthly statement deductions.
