The Future of Removable Prosthetics.
Traditional denture fabrication involves 5+ appointments and messy wax-ups. China Dental Labo accelerates your workflow with Digital Denture Design Services. Whether you are printing a try-in to verify the bite or milling the final puck, our CAD technicians ensure the occlusion is balanced and the fit is intimate.
Technical Engineering Specifications
We tailor the design file to your specific manufacturing capability:
Manufacturing Workflows
- Two-Piece (Bonded): We deliver 2 STL files: The Denture Base (with sockets) and the Teeth Arch (connected). You print them separately and bond them. Ideal for Lucitone Digital Print or NextDent.
- Monoblock (Try-in): A single STL file combining teeth and base. Ideal for printing a cheap resin Try-in to check VDO and aesthetics.
- Milled (Ivotion): Specialized design for Ivoclar’s bi-color pucks (requires specific CAM software integration).
Fit & Function
- Intaglio Surface: We offset the scan data slightly to block out sharp undercuts while maintaining the peripheral roll for suction.
- Socket Friction: For bonded dentures, we calibrate the socket gap (e.g., 0.1mm) so the printed teeth drop in easily with space for the bonding agent.
Input Requirements
To get the best result, we support two main digital pathways:
- Reference Denture (Copy Denture): Scan the patient’s existing denture (Intaglio + Facial) and a bite scan. We will replicate the fit and improve the aesthetics.
- Bite Rims: Scan the models and the wax rim with bite registration marks.
Seamless Digital Workflow
- Scan: Upload Desktop Scans (Models/Rims) or Intraoral Scans (Mucosa/Bite).
- Prescribe: Specify the workflow (e.g., “Print Base + Print Teeth”) and the Tooth Mould preference.
- Design: We deliver the STL files overnight.
- Produce: Print, Bond, Polish.
